Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. General Rule
All reservations are binding once confirmed. By completing a booking, you agree to the terms of this Cancellation Policy.
2. Cancellations by Guests
Guests may cancel their booking at any time by notifying us in writing (email). In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA, Section 17), cancellations may be subject to a reasonable cancellation fee.
Unless otherwise agreed, the following applies:
• Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival: 50% refund
• Cancellations made 30–7 days before arrival: 25% refund
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show: no refund
3. Exceptions
No refunds will be made for early departures or unused services.
4. Cooling-off Rights
The 5-day cooling-off right under the CPA (Section 16) applies only to bookings made through direct marketing. If you booked directly through our website or on your own initiative, this right does not apply.
5. Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), we reserve the right to cancel bookings. In such cases, we will offer an alternative date or a refund at our discretion.
